Design and Styling of TVS Raider 125 2025 Model

The 2025 Raider 125 flaunts a dual-tone fuel tank that blends matte black with glossy red, giving it a more aggressive and modern streetfighter look. The tank flap features a gloss black finish with a 3D “Horse” logo, adding to its muscular character. The air vents on the tank are neatly placed, enhancing both the aesthetic and cooling performance. The front fender (mudguard) also follows a dual-tone scheme, splitting gloss red and matte black right down the middle.

The Raider uses Allen bolts across the visible parts for a cleaner and more durable build. The side panels come with 3D Raider branding and new graphical patterns, finished in bold colours that make the bike look sportier than ever before. Even the belly pan gets a matte grey finish, adding more volume and protection to the underbody.

Performance, Engine, and Braking Upgrades

The TVS Raider 125 2025 is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine, fine-tuned for excellent fuel economy and rideability. While power figures may not be the headline feature, this bike delivers an impressive mileage of around 60–65 km. On the speed front, the Raider is capable of achieving a top speed of close to 115 km/h, making it ideal for city commuting and occasional highway rides.

A major update in this variant is the rear disc brake, making it the dual-disc variant that many customers have been waiting for. The Raider now comes with front and rear disc brakes and features single-channel ABS for improved braking safety. It also uses dual-port brake callipers at the front and 80/100-17 tubeless TVS tyres, ensuring a confident grip on Indian roads. TVS has made sure to focus on both performance and efficiency with this update.

Instrument Cluster, Controls, and Extra Features

The instrument console on the 2025 Raider is a fully digital colour display that offers information in a clear, vibrant format. Riders can access real-time data like speed, fuel levels, trip meters, and gear positions. This console also includes eco and power mode indicators, enhancing the rider’s control over performance and efficiency.

TVS has included handlebar-mounted switches for horns, indicators, pass lights, and dippers. The start switch is integrated smartly, and the handle grips and end bars are metallic for better durability. However, the levers are non-painted and non-adjustable, which could have been improved for more comfort.

In terms of rider convenience, the Raider 125 now offers a mobile charging port, which is especially useful for urban commuters. TVS has kept the switchgear branding minimal this time, but the bike still features dual-wave decals with TVS branding visible across key parts.

Headlamp, Tail Section, and Rear Design

The front headlamp section features LED daytime running lights (DRLs) along with halogen indicators and number plate placement. The headlight itself is LED, providing good night visibility. However, hazard lights are not offered in this model.

Moving to the back, the tail light is LED, and the grab rail is a single-piece metal unit, offering better pillion support. The rear section is newly styled, and you also get a refreshed indicator layout, a side-open chain setup, and new graphics. While the Raider does have a kick-start setup for Nepal, the Indian version does not get a Kickstarter and only offers self-start.

The saree guard and pillion footrests are now foldable, which adds a practical element to the sleek rear design.

Final Verdict: Is TVS Raider 125 2025 Worth It?

TVS has done a commendable job with the 2025 Raider 125, addressing key customer feedback and adding useful features like dual disc brakes, colour digital display, and new graphics. The bike looks fresh, performs reliably, and delivers the kind of mileage that commuter bike buyers expect. While the absence of a kick-start in India might be a concern for a few traditional riders, the rest of the package offers solid value.

With a competitive pricing strategy expected to be in place and a strong dealer network, the 2025 Raider 125 is positioned well to continue its success in the 125cc segment. The OBD-2B compliance also makes it future-ready in terms of regulations.
